Gaganam to release on new year day

It’s a known fact that Akkineni Nagarjuna loves December and most of hits he gave this decade have released in month of December and because of this sentiment Nagarjuna announced that Ragada will be releasing on December 17th which put lot of confusion over release dates of Nag’s bi-lingual movie Gaganam. At first they thought they will release in last week on November so there will be atleast two weeks gap between both his movies but seems like both Dil Raju and Prakash Raj (Producer of Tamil version) along with Nag decided to push this to next year and release on January 1st 2011. While some say Nagarjuna who is desperate for a hit after Kedi’s flop show wants to release commercial movie Ragada before but who knows may be Gaganam team wants to stay away from megapowerstar Ram Charan Teja’s Orange to be on safe side.

Gaganam is projected as an experimental movie with no songs and no female lead actress with story loosely based on Indian Airlines flight hijack in 1999. Bramhanandam and Prakash Raj will be seen in important roles.
