Telugu movies releasing this week (December 16th/17th 2010)

Venkatesh, Anushka Shetty, Richa Gangopadhyay, Kamalinee Mukherjee, Shraddha Das in Nagavalli

“She is Back”, yes we are talking about Chandramukhi sequel Nagavalli – Chandramukhi movie starring Victory Venkatesh, Anushka, Richa Gangopadhyay, Shraddha Das, Poonam Kaur, Kamalinee Mukherjee, Bramhanandam, Sharat Babu and others is  set for a grand release today (December 16th 2010) and as expected Anushka will be seen as Nagavalli (title character) and Venkatesh will be seen in dual role as Dr Vijay and Nagabhairava much like Rajinikanth in original Chandramukhi. Filmmaking has evolved a lot since original Chandramukhi movie release five years ago in terms of technology and if filmmakers get it right, Nagavalli can be a visual treat for sure. Let’s hope they get it right and Nagavalli gives much needed hit for telugu film industry.

Well for folks who don’t like supernatural thrillers, may want to experiment with Telugu dubbed tamil movie Nene Ambani (Boss Engira Baskaran in Tamil) releasing tomorrow (December 17th 2010) starring Arya and Nayantara. Arya is known to telugu audience for his role as Diwakar in Allu Arjun’s Varudu movie and Boss Engira Bhaskaran is biggest hit so far in his career. Tamil version Boss Engira Baskaran is one of the biggest grosser in Kollywood box office this year and producers believe can be successful in telugu as well.

We hope both movies do well and give some relief to fans who are waiting for a decent film since long.
